Long Beach Coves | San Vicente Palawan Master Plan
Updated: September 2017
The Long Beach spans to the coastline of four villages/barangays, stretching to approximately 14.7 kilometers in length. However, there are two (2) minor interruptions along the entire stretch. One in San isidro and the other one in Alimanguan, thereby creating three coves.
The coves in the Long Beach:
- Cove 1 is shared by Poblacion, New Agutaya and San Isidro
- Cove 2 is shared by San Isidro and Alimanguan
- Cove 3 is occupied by Alimanguan
Local residents claim that the 2 minor interruptions along the stretch of the Long Beach are passable (you can walk through) during low tide and therefore claim that the succeeding coves are continuation of the first cove.
The 2 minor interruptions along the Long Beach made many curious mind to wonder if the it is really the longest white sand beach in country that stretches to more or less 14 kilometers in length.
